Nepal Physics Olympiad (NePhO)

Nepal Physics Olympiad (NePhO) is a yearly national competition in Physics, organized by Nepal Physical Society. The goal of NePhO is to select the top 5 candidates from Nepal who can delegate Nepal in the International Physics Olympiad (InPhO) and Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO).

NePhO comprises of two rounds:

  • Pre-Selection Test
  • Final Selection Test

Pre-Selection Test

Through the pre-selection test, top 20 students are selected. Nepal Physical Society provides them training before they appear for the Final-Selection Test.

Final-Selection Test

Through the final-selection test, top 5 students are selected. They will represent Nepal in International Physics Olympiad (InPhO) and Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) in their respective years.
